AKA Big Kahuna Sweet Slaw. One of the easiest recipes in my collection there is no excuse for not pulling this off again and again. The Hawaiian sweetness of this slaw jumps off the plate and into your mouth. Bring this to the barbecue and you will be the Big Kahuna.
1 each bag Tri-Color Cole Slaw Blend
1 each 11 ounce can Dole Mandarin Oranges
1 each 8 ounce can Dole Crushed Pineapples
1 each martini glass (4 fluid ounces) Hidden Valley Coleslaw Dressing
1 each half pint julienne cut Carrots
1/2 each tablespoon McCormick Pure Ground Black Pepper
Wash your hands with medium hot water and soap. In a mixing bowl pour out the bag of Tri-Color Cole Slaw Blend. Open and drain can of Dole Mandarin Oranges and add to mixing bowl. Open and add Dole Crushed Pineapples without draining, 1 each martini glass (4 ounces) Hidden Valley Coleslaw Dressing, 1 each half pint julienne cut Carrots, 1/2 each tablespoon McCormick Pure Ground Black Pepper. Mix the contents well until blended.
Great as a side dish or family BBQ secondary dish. Quick and easy to make I love this style recipe for its simplicity. The julienne cut Carrots were purchased precut and packaged ready to use just like the Tri Colored Cole Slaw Blend. They're a great example of utilizing a precut Value Added product to aide in prep time.
EZ Money in the House! Cole Slaw that kills it every time. Try it with our Spicy Orange Glazed St. Louis Style Pork Ribs. Throw in our Jamaican Me Black Beans & Rice to make it complete. Sunday afternoon BBQ at its best.
