AKA Assimilation by Shellfish Casserole. A combination of two tasty simple recipes. Bake in some lemon and you have a casserole dish to be proud of. Shellfish lovers rejoice old school meets tide pool in this retro classic.
Like peanut butter and chocolate you start with two recipes great on there own. Eliminate the guess work unless you have shellfish to spare this is a great way to stretch it out for 8 to 10 people.
4 each cups Mac & Cheese Assimilation by Shellfish
2 each cups C&C Gulf Coast Stuff'N
1 each thin slice large Lemon
Wash your hands with medium hot water and soap. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a casserole dish (5 inches x 7 inches and 2 inches deep) add 4 each cups Mac & Cheese Assimilation by Shellfish. Spread Mac & Cheese evenly in casserole dish. Top with 2 each cups C&C Gulf Coast Stuff'N spread evenly. Take 1 each large Lemon cut 8 each thin slices to layer on top of Stuff'N. Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Carefully remove from oven and set aside. Turn oven off.

Servings: 4 to 6 depending on portion size
Its a favorite casserole style of mine to top with stuffing. The layer of lemon slices is great way to further incorporate lemon juice into the dish. It also helps the casserole from drying out.
